The topics of articles published in Security: Theory and Practice include: public security management, crisis management, ecological and energy security management, as well as security issues in both objective and subjective dimensions, international security, information security, and practical activities in this area, also in relation to the activities of non-profit organizations and current legislative initiatives.
The journal addresses issues of social and organizational resilience, security threats, and measures to counteract them. The role of state security systems and their components, sectoral and intra-organizational systems, is described. Information and educational activities aimed at improving security are also discussed. Articles also address migration threats.
In the practical area, interviews and discussions on improving security through management are published. Experiences in implementing selected security systems, including food and health systems, are presented. The achievements of conferences, meetings, and workshops on security issues are also described.
Articles that are not considered for publication:
• inconsistent with the journal’s subject matter
• prepared not in conformity with the instruction for authors
• review articles containing no new findings
• repeating or compiling previous articles, including those by the same author (text recycling)
• previously published or submitted simultaneously to other publications
