A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Science, Metallurgy and Transport (degree course: transport) and the Railway Technical School in Sosnowiec (specializing in railway traffic control automation), he holds a postdoctoral degree in economics (specializing in management science). He is a professor of social sciences in the discipline of management and quality sciences. He is an expert of the Polish Accreditation Committee.

Vice President of the Management Board and Quality Manager of the Accredited Assessment Body (AsBo) OTTIMA plus Sp. z o. o. (Katowice) in the field of safety assessment and Inspector for the safe integration of structural and functional subsystems of the Technical Specifications for Interoperability. Lead auditor of quality, environmental, and safety management systems. Advisor to Polish and international companies on business models, strategies, business processes, and projects, as well as modern management methods and techniques. Specialist in the railway industry in the field of rail traffic safety management and railway infrastructure maintenance. Co-initiator and co-founder of the first Railway Cluster in Poland – the Southern Railway Cluster, based in Katowice. Active member of the European Cluster Network – ERCI – European Railway Clusters Initiative. Member of the Scientific Confraternity of Evidential Research scientific team, operating in accordance with Evidence-Based Management (EBM) standards.

Author of studies and business analyses in the areas of business models, digital and sustainable business models, strategic management, digital security and safety, rail transport, value management, and risk management. Author and co-author of several monographs and over 100 scientific articles in the field of management and railway safety management. A long-time member of the ERCI Innovation Award jury in rail transport. Member of the European Commission’s Horizon Europe international research program – topic designation HORIZON-CL5-2021-D1-01-06 „Supporting and standardizing climate services in Europe and beyond.”

• cost optimization and management structures of railway companies.
